The brief
Tourism NZ needed a refreshed aerial library after three years of reusing the same stock.
Everything had to be permit-compliant, shot outside peak season, and delivered in a format their agency partners could re-cut without coming back to us.

Permits before pixels
Conservation-land drone work in New Zealand is a paperwork problem before it's a flying problem. We budgeted three weeks of permitting up front, which is why nothing slipped once cameras were up.
Building a library, not a film
The anthem film was the deliverable everyone talked about; the graded b-roll was the one that paid for itself. Every clip ships with location, altitude and time-of-day metadata so agency editors can search it.
Shooting the weather nobody books
Half the library is shot in wind, low cloud and late autumn. It gives the brand something no stock library has: New Zealand that looks like a real place rather than a screensaver.
“Delivered early, fully documented, and the b-roll is still being re-cut by three agencies a year later. That's the whole brief, met.”
