The brief

Aman wanted to grow shoulder-season occupancy at its Annapurna property without discounting rates.

The ask: one hero film and a social cutdown series that sold the feeling of an off-peak stay — mist, quiet, long mornings — to a slow-travel audience.

A Quiet Season in the Himalaya — Aman

The problem with shoulder season

Off-peak marketing usually leans on price. We argued the opposite: the quietest weeks are the property's best product, and the campaign should be an argument for emptiness — fewer guests, softer light, longer breakfasts.

Shooting for weather, not against it

We spent nine days on property and shot deliberately in fog and rain. Two of the three highest-performing cutdowns are entirely overcast, which quietly reframed what a 'good' Himalayan shot looks like for this brand.

Distribution built into the edit

Every sequence was framed twice — 16:9 for the hero film and 9:16 for social — so the vertical assets are native, not cropped. That single decision doubled the paid media life of the shoot at no extra cost.

Day three — the fog never lifted, so we made it the subject.

We've worked with a lot of creators. This is the first time a film actually looked like how it feels to stay with us — and the booking data agreed.
